Bulldogs Next Tournament February 14-17, 2005
The Bantam Bulldogs finished their Western Canada Tournament Swing with a respectable 8th place finish. The North Shore Winter Club beat the Abbottsford Hawks 2-1 in OT to win the Gold Medal. Ridge Meadows won the Bronze medal with a 7-6 win over South Delta. The Bulldogs lost to Abbottsford in the first game 4-2 and bounced back with a come from behind win over Coquitlam 8-5. The Bulldogs faced Burnaby Winter Club in their final round robin game and defeated them 3-1. The Bulldogs finished 2nd place in the their division. In the elimination round the Bulldogs met Chilliwack and eliminated them 3-2 in a shootout. In the Quarterfinals the Bulldogs lost to the high flying Ridge Meadows who recorded 64 shots and won 8-3. Overall the Bulldogs had a very strong showing in Western Canada.
